Get to Know the Photographer

Hi, I'm Makayla. I've been in photography for 4 years now. I have a wonderful husband (Ethan) and 2 sweet pups (Cotton and Leo). When I'm not capturing your memories, I am a night shift ER nurse, so forgive me if I always look sleep deprived (because I am LOL). I enjoy making friends and sharing the love of Jesus with anyone I can. I can't wait to hang out with you!

My Style

Each photographer's style is constantly adjusting as time goes on. While I grow as a person, my photography grows along with me. Therefore, my current style has been deep, dark, moody, & cool tones. However, I am prone to throwing some warm tones around every now and then. I've found that my mood follows the weather a lot. If our session is bright & sunny, images will most likely be on the warmer side. On the opposite spectrum, dim & rainy = cooler tones. A photographer's style is where the heart meets the art, so it is best for you to search for a photographer with a style that you love also.
